Absolutely beautiful. Tranquility at it's best. The little personal touches, e.g., fruit in the basket, milk and water in the fridge, copious amount of coffee and tea, not forgetting glorious bathrobes in the cupboard. The bungalow has everything you need to make breakfast.

This place is magical, I took my fiancé for his birthday and we fell in love instantly, we appreciated all the attention to detail in the cabin and the cosy homely feel. The majestic views of the mountains and to watch the horses graze in the field brought a feeling of peace and tranquility. Our host, Sue was amazing and so helpful. Thank you, thank you, we will be back again and again.

• Camden Park Bungalow

We are always looking for that unique place, far from the “madding crowd “ but close enough to drive to shops and restaurants. We found it at this stud farm. Amazing one bedded cottage, fully equipped, including a simple to use wood fired hot tub and gas braai. Views were amazing in both directions and we were surrounded by fields of beautiful horses.

We stayed in one of the twin rooms (garden view) and had a spectacular time. The room was very comfortable, lots of gentle hike routes and a fantastic mountain water hot tub each evening (despite some rain!).

A perfect spot if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, yet not far from Hermanus. Highly recommended.

• Deluxe Double / Twin Room

We stayed in the Camden Park bungalow in March. It is a new bungalow with lovely views from the back & front decks. A beautiful bathroom with a bath easily big enough for 2! It has sliding full wall windows to make it feel like being outside. The shower was great too. The kitchen was stocked well with Nespresso coffee, teas, milk and delicious biscotti. It has a 2 burner hob, a braai and fridge freezer so some self catering would be easy. The king bed was very comfortable with good linens. Being able to see the sea (day) and the stars at night through the full length windows from bed was fantastic. We did not use the wood fired hot tub. The surrounding paddocks with horses (and wandering baboons) were interesting as we have very little horse knowledge.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. It is a short and easy drive to Hermanus. Great value and next time we will stay longer!

My wife and I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle between Christmas and New Year. The Camden Park Bungalow and Hemel 'n Aarde Stud was the perfect place for this! Situated high up on the farm with stunning views down the valley, all the way to the sea. We were completely isolated, with the nearest bungalow not in sight. The bungalow is beautifully designated with quality and great taste. The hot tub was an absolute hit! The 4-night stay did exactly what was required, and we left rejuvenated and relaxed. Thank you Sue for all the attention to detail and being a wonderful host! We look forward to returning.

My wife and I were very well received by the most amazing person. Michèle went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and settled. She really went the extra mile for us. The room was very well equipped and clean and the staff very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed lazing in the hot tub and just listening to the sounds of nature. It was a very welcome break from the hustle and bustle of city life. I would definitely recommend the venue to anyone who wants to break away for a little bit of peace and quiet. The access road is a bit bumpy, but once you get used to it, it adds to the charm of the place. Thank you very much for a most enjoyable time.
