Our stay at Hemel and Aarde Stud Farm was nothing short of magical. The views were absolutely breathtaking, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a honeymoon.
One of the most special parts of our stay was watching the horses walk freely in the fields. We could even see them right from our cottage, which made the experience feel so unique and calming. Everything about this place felt serene and unforgettable. It truly was an amazing experience, and we will definitely be back 🍃🐎

We had the most incredible stay at Hemel n Aarde and I honestly cannot recommend it enough!

Firstly, Sue was an absolute darling. She was such a pleasure to talk to and went out of her way to make our stay special. She was incredibly helpful with recommendations on activities and things to do in the area, which made the whole experience even better.
The accommodation itself was amazing — the pictures truly don’t do it justice. Every little detail has been thought of, and they have literally everything you could possibly need and more. It felt so comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully prepared for guests.
I’ve already recommended it to so many people and I honestly can’t wait to go back again.

We had such a stunning time at Hemel 'N Aarde Stud. We had a wedding at Moya's Vineyards, and the proximity was very convenient. Sue was wonderful, checked in before we needed to head through, she provided detailed instructions on how to get to the room. We had all the amenities we didn't even know we needed. Having your own patio with a braai, waking up to the view and the horses. What a serene place to spend a weekend.

Excellent overall. Best place we have ever stayed at. The view, the cottage is tops! Nothing lacks. Quiet and peaceful..

The place was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by the mountains and had a gorgeous hot water tub to top it up. The host Sue was the most amazing. I felt welcomed even before I arrived. She went above and beyond to making sure my stay was comfortable. I totally enjoyed my stay at Hemel ‘N Aarde.

Lovely large room with all that we needed for our all too brief stay. Would definitely return if we are in this area again.

This beautiful farm in an incredible valley offers the choice between just staying on the farm and enjoying the hot tub and peace or exploring local wine farms. The room was thoughtfully furnished and had all that one might need including a spotlessly clean gas braai, microwave and Nespresso machine and complementary rusks / milk. Great charcuterie board lunch at Bosman vineyards and a lovely visit to ESCAPE wines. We had two lovely runs on the farm as well.

By far the most beautiful place in the valley of Hemel & Aarde. What a stunning location, surrounded by wonderful horses and natures abundance! The view, the hot tob, the staff made our stay so special! Sundowners, sunrise every minute your there the sky gives you an spectacular view of beauty. An absolute go to!

Only negative:  Our short stay:  2 days was way to short. Next will stay longer!

Magnificent setting with mountain views & onto a paddock full of mares and foals. The cabin we were in had great facilities, including a hot tub in the deck & an outside bath. Lovely bedding & a good shower.
